Charles W. Dunn, Dean of the Robertson School of Government at Regent University, in a recent article answers the question: Are Liberals More Generous Than Conservatives?
The answer it seems is a resounding "No".
His article is a "must read" - unless you've already moved or are thinking of moving to Canada.

Florida Democrat Counties Vote Heavily for President Bush
Friends of Sen. John Kerry cried foul when some democrat counties in Florida voted heavily for President George Bush.
Contradicting Internet based rumors of a conspiracy against the senator, the Miami Herald found in a recent unofficial recount that the original tally, with minor differences, was accurate. The three Democrat counties, in fact, voted heavily for President Bush.
The paper's explanation, based on an interview of a local official, was that many people in these counties are fundamentalist Christians who would not be likely to vote for a liberal senator from Massachusetts.
This reinforces the finding that belief in the Bible trumps other factors, including party allegiance. How the democrats react to this in the future may determine their destiny.
Stay tuned.

The End of an Era
Dan Rather is bowing out as anchor of CBS Evening News. Just in time before the report of the internal CBS investigation of the bogus 60 Minutes story on the President's National Guard service.
The bloggers unraveled the 60 Minutes story which was based on memos allegedly typed by Lt. Bush's commanding officer which "proved" that young Bush received special treatment because of his family status.
The only problem, as it turned out, was that the memos, according to most experts, were created by a modern computer program which was not available in the 60's. In addition it was also later found out that the man who faxed the memos to CBS was a known Bush hater who had been debunked by most reporters much earlier as an unreliable source.
Rather apologists now say that Dan only "read" the report and was duped by the source, his producer and staff with a false report. This is hard to believe.
Rather is the seasoned managing editor of CBS News who should check out such reports to be sure they are accurate. This also begs the question if the liberal Rather let a sloppy story slip through because he hoped it would affect the election.
Fortunately too much light was shed on this story by the non-traditional media - the bloggers, like Powerline, cable news like Fox News and Talk Radio led by Rush and Sean Hannity.
As the Bible says, the truth shall set you free.

The Truth About Who Pays the Tax Bill
There are some - mostly liberals, who say (over and over) that the "rich" are not paying their fair share of taxes. They yell that the Bush tax cuts were unfair. The facts dispel both myths. People in the upper 50% of the population pay 96.5% of the federal tax bill. The lower 50% pay only 3.5% of the bill. All taxpayers got a tax cut under the Bush tax cuts. In fact, those in the upper brackets got a lower percentage cut. Take a look how the tax burden breaks down. Decide for yourself what is fair.
- The top 1% pay 33.7%
- The top 5% pay 53.8%
- The top 10% pay 65.7%
- The top 25% pay 83.9%
- The top 50% pay 96.5%

Post-Election Selection Trauma (PEST)
Now that the election is over it seems that our democrat friends need emotional healing. Some are even thinking of moving to Canada which they see as a more 'progressive' society. The pundits probably need some therapy too since many of them can not understand how moral issues or the Bible could trump issues like Iraq or the economy. May God continue to bless America.

God Bless America
It was truly an amazing election. George Bush prevailed after an onslaught of attacks that were unprecedented by the liberal media and the democrat party. I couldn't resist turning to CBS and CNN after it was apparent that Ohio would go for the President. Dan Rather and Wolf Blitzer were stunned. They cling to the belief that Kerry could get all the provisional ballots and overcome an almost 140,000 vote lead in Ohio long after Fox News and NBC had called Ohio for Bush. And then there was Ron Reagan on MSNBC who acted wounded as he lamented that this was an election between religion and science - and religion won. Then he went further explained that he liked Kerry's religion, which I guess meant that Kerry professed a belief, but didn't really believe it.
God Bless America!
God Bless America!

Bi Laden Threatens US States That Vote For Bush
A new translation of the recent Bi Laden video message shows that he threatened retaliation against US states that vote for Bush in tomorrows election, not foreign states. Read the chilling story reported in the NY Post.
